BARROIS MUSEUM - CASTLE OF THE DUKES OF BAR
Museum housing stone sculptures from Lorraine dating from the to centuries, Gallo-Roman remains, tools from ancient trades
The Cour des Comptes and the "Neuf Castel" were built in 1543 and 1563 respectively. They house the Musée Barrois and its fabulous collections, created in 1841 in the spirit of a "little Louvre". To preserve its heritage, the museum is currently closed to the public. Work is scheduled to restore its beauty. The esplanade, gardens and rose garden will remain accessible for a pleasant stroll, with the Château des Ducs de Bar in the background.
