Lions from the Bradfer School Park, produced by forges and foundries belonging to this important industrial hub.
Behind a gate stands the statue of Ernest Bradfer, forge master and mayor of Bar-le-Duc. In accordance with his last wishes, his parents set up a school for the children of forge and foundry workers. These workers produced four magnificent cast-iron lions, each in a different attitude, to surround the statue of Ernest Bradfer. Today, these majestic statues are enjoyed by pupils at the Bradfer elementary school.
