A third-generation chef, Philippe Labadie was naturally initiated by his father before doing his apprenticeship with Cousseau at the Relais de la Poste in Majescq, and winning the national title of best apprentice in 1974. The chef works with subtlety with products rigorously selected from local producers. His cassolette of veal sweetbreads with porcini mushrooms, his half-cooked duck liver confit with rose petals and toasted gingerbread, his filet of royal sea bream and his inimitable hot soufflé with Grand Marnier are classics.

Accueil chaleureux, cuisine agréable, on sent la volonté de bien faire et de faire plaisir. Une serveuse pro et souriante. Des portions un peu justes pour de grands gabarits. Une carte des vins minimaliste et privilégiant le local (le Tursan qui est plus proche d’un vin de soif) Ambiance feutrée de salle à manger de province . Un seul point noir, l’éclairage immonde blanc et blafard qui donne la sensation d’être sur une table d’opération ! Par pitié, mettez des bougies ou des éclairages indirects dorés mais pas ce lustre ni des appliques !!!! Vous perdez tout le charme suranné de votre établissement. Bonne journée ;) à bientôt . Bruno
