RELAIS DE SAINT-JACQUES
A former fire station rehabilitated as a municipal shelter for pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela.
Historically, pilgrims from northern France took the route that began at the Madeleine sanctuary in Vézelay. On their way to Santiago de Compostela, they passed through Hagetmau on their way to Saint-Girons Abbey (destroyed in 1569). This municipal refuge, built in the former fire station, can accommodate up to 7 pilgrims. There's a fitted kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms (3 and 4 beds) and bathroom. The access code will be given to you at the pool reception desk.
