RENAISSANCE HOUSE
Renaissance style house, built on two floors during the century and which is formidably well preserved
If you're ever strolling through the town's streets, your eye is bound to linger on a colorful pink and blue building! At number 1, you'll find this Renaissance-style house, built over two floors in the 16th century, and formidably well preserved. The windows are framed by large stone columns. They are beautifully crowned with pediments and decorated with carved ornaments. This singular, refined residence was the seat of Commercy's former synagogue.
