Musée de la Céramique et de l'Ivoire (Ceramics and Ivory Museum) in Commercy, home to a fabulous Art Deco décor, including a collection of earthenware
Housed in the former municipal shower baths. In this copy of the central pavilion of Emmanuel Héré's water tower, a fabulous Art Deco décor houses France's2nd-largest collection of ivories (17th-19th centuries), as well as an ensemble of earthenware and porcelain. Dr. Boyer's bequest in 1909 laid the foundations for the institution, and the collection is regularly enriched.
