A LA CLOCHE LORRAINE – ESPACE MADELEINES GROSJEAN-SAINT-MICHEL
Located in the city centre just a few steps from the Royal Castle. There are two different entrances, in this gourmandise temple dedicated to the Madeleine of Commercy. Here we are transported in the beautiful Madeleine area located at the back of the store and whose access is by the street parallel to it. The entrance hall welcomes superb sculptures from local artists and opens onto the beautiful video room. A little film is projected on the history and secrets of making the Madeleine, animated by Josette, true ambassador of the Madeleine of Commercy. Then we go to the manufacturing lab to look in real this time, the making of our gourmandise which will be served warm few minutes later. Manufacturing is done in an artisanal way, and only mold and packaging remain mechanical. Then we go into the magnificent tea lounge which gives credit to the tasting. The décor tinged with ochre or land of Siena in harmony with the small black tables, the pistachio green benches and the frescos of cherubim, distilling a Florentine atmosphere. A large glass window gives you a taste of beautiful floral compositions. A nice invitation to indulge in a warm drink in a warm drink served in a nice crockery accompanied by a mellow, mellow and deliciously perfumed madeleine. Finally, the shop offers a wide range of old collection boxes, including a numbered series of five Phillipe Delestre drawings, or the one in tribute to Proust's Madeleine. It is also possible to purchase individually packed royal madeleines bags. The range is in nature, chocolate and mirabell, in the midst of other specialties such as thé tea, chocolates, fine sweets and ice in the Madeleine. At last, there are gift ideas with Longwy Enamels, tea services, decorative objects and colourful colored jewellery. And whatever the time, the boutique boutique didn't always!
