Church with many interesting architectural features
Interesting architecture. The medieval tower was built in the 12th century and restored in the late 18th century. Its canopy is made up of pieces from a former hermitage destroyed during the French Revolution. They were salvaged and placed above the portal by the abbot of the time. Inside the church, an 18th-century oil on canvas depicts Saint-Maurice and a 14th-century stone Virgin and Child. The stained-glass windows pay tribute to Damvillois who died for France, and are the work of Georges Janin.
