CENTRE CULTUREL IPOUSTEGUY
The center is a place of life, exchange, expression and cultural and artistic encounters. His name is a tribute to sculptor and painter Jean-Robert Ipoustéguy born in 1920 in Dun-sur-Meuse and died in 2006. This site contains the most important collection of his surrealist works. With his steep and tormented style, he is considered one of the greatest contemporary European sculptors. The cultural center opened in 2001 with a dozen sculptures and a dozen paintings from the artist. A collection of thirty paintings, signed by Ipoustéguy, traces its different eras. Every year, at the Ipoustéguy festival, many works are renewed. The center also has a library, meeting room, amphitheater, projection room and shop space. The "art déb" evenings propose to exchange around an artist or theme. Various animations during the season: Don't miss temporary exhibitions, Thursday workshops, baby-reader appointments…
