Ouvrage de la Falouse, a site whose mission was to defend the southern part of the city from Verdun to Dugny-sur-Meuse.
Built shortly before the First World War at an altitude of 230 meters, the Falouse was intended to defend the southern part of the city of Verdun. Never attacked by the Germans, it was used as a cantonment site. Purchased by enthusiasts in 2008, it is now open to visitors. Made entirely of reinforced concrete, it features two turrets, observatories and a sentry box. Inside the casemates, scenes from life at the fort during the Great War have been recreated to give a better idea of living conditions at the time.
