LES POUPÉES D'OR DU FOLKLORE

Since 1860, in Etain, dolls are manufactured: the famous Petitcollin Dolls. It is the last unit that still manufactures French dolls… so the festival is an opportunity to highlight this original artisan heritage and today unique in France. After the success of the first edition of the Gold Dolls of Folklore, in 2002, the event returns each year, presenting folk and musical groups from France, Europe and all other continents. Moreover, this international meeting is the only one in Lorraine. The welcomed groups are often from Europe. Our geographical position allows us to discover German, Swiss, Belgian, Luxembourgish or Italian ensembles. Come many!
