DISCOVERY TRAIL - LIMESTONE LAWN
At the heart of this old limestone quarry, the 2-hour walk will allow you to discover the plants and animals of this environment. The course is punctuated with ground drawings, reproducing insects and their observation periods, here the other animals of the limestone lawn, and still fossils of certain animals such as urchins, gastropods, bivalves or even articles of the peduncle of crinoids or lys. All the secrets of limestone will be revealed to you, with the debris of shells and skeletons of dead animals that have amoncelés in these places for thousands of years! Children can reproduirent their discoveries thanks to the scratch grids provided by the Val-de-Meuse tourist office, and they can also start climbing.
