CHATEAU DU PRADA
Chateau with bed and breakfast offering homemade food in Labastide-d'Armagnac.
Jean de Bouglon, prosecutor of the king and governor of Eauze, married the daughter of a Bourgeois bourgeois in 1728. Their son built the land of Prada as a seigneury and built the castle around 1764 by the architect Victor Louis. In the th century, Barbey d'Aurevilly stayed in the castle. The host body is at 2 levels and nine travées of windows with stone frames. Eight generations grew up in the castle today, with the exception of wine. The vineyard covers 2,5 ha. Philippe and Béatrice de Bouglon decided to open the doors of the castle in order to preserve this beautiful heritage. The guest rooms overlook the park. The table of hosts is recognized for the finesse of its homemade dishes, illustrating the best of the gascon gastronomy with the fatty liver of the grapes, its boiled and graisserons eggs, chicken or magret of Landes and its delicious chocolate base. In a place like this, the meal will naturally end with the tasting of some "house" armagnacs.

The building is historic and therefore things like the bathrooms might be different than some people expect but it seemed to be looked after pretty well and everything was clean and functional.
