Temple built in 1607, now a temporary exhibition space in Labastide-d'Armagnac.
Just a stone's throw from Place Royale, the Temple des Bastides is a former Protestant temple. Built in 1607 after the Wars of Religion, which caused much damage to local places of worship, the temple made Labastide d'Armagnac one of the leading Protestant centers. Today, the building has become a venue for temporary exhibitions, focusing mainly on sculpture and painting. Guided tours will give you a better understanding of the site and the works on display.
