BASTIDE TEMPLE
Temple built in 1607, now a temporary exhibition space in Labastide-d'Armagnac.
Just a stone's throw from Place Royale, the Temple des Bastides is a former Protestant temple, built in 1607. While the Wars of Religion did much damage to local places of worship, this temple made Labastide d'Armagnac one of the high points of Protestantism. Today, the building has become a venue for temporary exhibitions, focusing mainly on sculpture and painting. Guided tours will give you a better understanding of the site and the works on display. Take a look at the tourist office diary!
