PASKAP
Paskap offers slippers for "baby sleepers", the top-of-the-range natural leather. Thanks to its 100% French manufacture, this brand-new brand is awarded the Origin France Guarantee label.
History. The manufacture of footwear for children has existed since 1936 in Labrit, in the Landes. But Paskap's adventure began recently, in July 2014, on a little crazy bet. Karine Coutière has chosen to create his baby shoe company and to counter the deindustrialization of his territory. After being dismissed twice (in 2008 and 2013), the old Baby-Love model went on the offensive by settling in Labrit (Landes) in the old factory of the brand. This is where the entrepreneur makes his shoes by hand in an eco-responsible way.
Karine Coutière is positioned on the top of the range by offering models worth on average about sixty euros. It uses only raw materials treated environmentally without heavy metals. The majority of its suppliers are French: the thick leather of bullfighting comes from Espelette in the Basque Country, that of goat and lamb, more flexible, comes from a Portuguese workshop that uses a process of vegetal tanning, and the lacets are manufactured in Cholet always in a concern for local sourcing.
The products. Espadrilles, boots, barefoot, babies, baskets…
