A superb park classified as a historical monument, a place suitable for romantic, family and sports walks in Ligny-en-Barrois.
Classified as a historical monument. In the 14th century, Pierre de Luxembourg was already enjoying the peace and quiet of this superb park, laid out outside the ramparts. In the 16th century, land exchanges gave the park its original L shape. Today, the rectangular part retains its French-style parkland feel, with its rows of hundred-year-old trees, while the charming banks of the Ornain are English-style. A place for romantic, family and even sporting walks (children's games and outdoor fitness area). Remains of the Cannon Tower.
