THE CASTLE OF JEAN-D'HURS
First property of the Choiseul family in the 1808 th century, the manor house belonged in to the former chaplain of King Stanislas, the last seigneur of Lisle-en-Rigault. After the Revolution, the castle will be sold in several lots. The long building made up of limestone stones, transformed into the orders of Marshal Oudinot, was crowned with towers and a ogival passage, then serres, a orangerie, mills and a nine-Hectare English park, with rare essences. The old abbey only remains the cloisters of the cloister, the large French staircase and some of the rooms on the ground floor. The traces of the drawbridge bridge and the fortified courtyard are the only remains of medieval times. The castle, which has always retained its private character, is now renting itself for all your family celebrations.
