On the occasion of the centenary of the first World War, the village honours the writer, poet and thinker Charles Péguy (1873-1914). A course to better remember this visionary has been developed thanks to 16 stations located across the town of Loupmont. An original way to discover the modernity of his thinking. He died on the battlefield on September 5, 1914 at the age of 41, with a bullet in the forehead. A great writer of the twentieth century to rehabilitate.
