Grande Place in Marville, home to well-preserved medieval houses, some with cellars and a farmhouse
It boasts a number of remarkable, surprisingly well-preserved residences, whose construction is estimated to date back to the medieval period, with embellishments dating back to the Renaissance. At 6 and 8, two houses have identical facades bearing the date 1781. These houses contain cellars dating from the 14th and 15th centuries. Later used as farms, they were equipped with a farmhouse at the rear. The door of house no. 8, framed by pilasters and topped by a pediment, features a shield with a hammered coat of arms at the top.
