Museum preserving a beautiful collection of earthenware and pottery from the Argonne in a 17th century fortified house in Rarécourt.
In a 17th century fortified house. The collection includes more than 800 specimens of Argonne earthenware and pottery, regional specialties from Islettes, Waly, Lavoye, Salvange, Rarécourt and Froidos. The museum includes an archaeology department (coins, parchments, etc.), as well as autographs from the revolutionary period. One of the highlights is a calendar and the signatures of Marie Antoinette and King Louis XVI. The visit to the Musée de la Faïence takes about 1h15.
