SAINT-LOUVENT CHURCH
This monumental building is in the flamboyant Gothic style with a portal characteristic of Baroque Renaissance architecture, separated by a trumeau decorated with a Virgin and Child. The openwork tympanum shelters the cenas of Christ's passion. A frieze represents allegories, such as death, symbolic animals... The nave impresses by its 18-metre height while the vaulting of the choir and transept, with liernes and tiercerons, is remarkable. The church houses many other treasures... a side chapel houses the shrine of Saint Louvent.
