DOMAINE DE MAOUHUM

Domaine de Maouhum is located in the small village of Le Frêche, near Mont-de-Marsan. Owner Christelle Lasseignou produces white and rosé Armagnacs and Flocs de Gascogne. The farmhouse, typical of the Bas-Armagnac region, is charmingly half-timbered with terracotta brickwork inside. During the tour, visitors can wander through the 7 hectares of vines, admire the wood-fired still and discover the ageing cellar where oak barrels are lined up. In the welcoming reception room, visitors can sample the estate's products free of charge. Christelle also suggests pairing her products with dishes such as foie gras or fruit salad. The boutique sells vintage Armagnacs, white and rosé Floc de Gascogne and Pujo Côtes de Gascogne wines. Visits by appointment only.
