ROMAGNA '14 - '18
Museum presenting objects related to the First World War, visits to the discovery of former battlefields proposed.
The Romagna Museum '14-'18 was created thanks to the passionate work of Jean-Paul de Vries who, since 1976, has been researching and collecting objects related to the First World War: military equipment, but also watches, coins, etc. The woods around Romagne-sous-Montfaucon, once battlefields, abound with these witnesses. Thanks to this museum, the visitor will be able to imagine the daily life of the soldiers on the front and better understand the atrocity of this war. Jean-Paul de Vries also offers guided tours to discover the former battlefields, on foot or by car.
