The Chipolé Field Observatory is an astronomical observation site located in nature, 5 min from Saint-Mihiel. The association organizes public observation evenings, conferences, astrophotography initiation sessions… It brings together amateur astronomers who enjoy a relatively preserved rural site of the parasites lights. It has extensive equipment: telescopes of different powers, a small planetarium, a photo lab, an observatory that houses a Newton telescope 210 mm in diameter, equipped for visual observation and a long picture of the objects of the deep sky. The Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, nebulae and galaxies offer our view…
