American monument commemorating the division's actions, including the capture of Montfaucon at Sivry-sur-Meuse.

One of the best integrated American monuments. It stands at the top of a hill and is dedicated to the 79th I.D. The memory of this division is rather unusual in that its society was formed quite early, and defined its projects at an executive meeting. The aim of this kind of veterans' association is to organize the establishment of appropriate overseas monuments and memorials. He recalls the division's actions, notably the capture of Montfaucon.
