Museum with a fantastic collection of art objects, paintings, earthenware and weapons dating back to antiquity

In a 16th century mansion in the city centre. A fantastic collection of art objects, paintings, earthenware and weapons dating from Antiquity to the eve of the First World War. The department of medieval arts presents interesting specimens of Marian piety. On the painting side, there are admirable 18th century portraits as well as works by Lorraine celebrities Jules Bastien-Lepage and Hector Leroux. A beautiful journey through the arts of fire (earthenware) and popular. A visit to the garden will bring the visit to a pleasant close.

Zal ongetwijfeld heel mooi zijn , helaas op dinsdag gesloten zodat wij voor een gesloten deur stonden. Volgend jaar herkansing.

Jolie découverte. Il m'a fait pensé au musée de la cours d'or (certe bien plus petit !!).
Manque des indications lorsque le visiteur est en extérieur, mais après échange, le musée travaillerait pour y remédier ;)
