THE OLD WASH-HOUSE
This Louis XVI-style washing house built in the late th century, fuelled by gravity from the Loussot fountain, is illuminated by ten arched windows. It housed a raised pool allowing the lavandières to wash the cloth, and provided facilities. The building is now separated into two parts, one of which serves as a meeting room. The lavoir presents a stone fountain on the front and the basin is accessible at the rear of the building, behind three arches ornate in a singular way by heads of animals raised of the stone. It is one of the oldest washing houses in the Meuse.
