Take advantage of l'Estanquet's typically traditional setting to treat yourself to regional dishes. Simple, family-style and tasty, Marie-Claude and Didier Mesa's cuisine is also very generous. Here, we promise you a return to the true values of the Landes region as cooked by our grandmothers. Highlights include garbure, grilled duck breast, pan-fried foie gras escalopes with pastis perdu and orange wine sauce, and tourtière landaise. L'Estanquet has its own terrace. Reservations are highly recommended.

Bon... alors L'Estanquet, il faut y aller, c'est sûr. Mais le ventre vide, après un jeûne de plusieurs jours !!! Car les plats sont plus que copieux - je me souviens de la garbure, nous étions deux et pensions naïvement avoir une assiette chacun... C'est la soupière qui nous fut apportée à table ! Et si bonne qu'on s'est servi et resservi... mais ce n'était que l'entrée ! Somme toute, à L'Estanquet on est gascon : généreux en tout point - qualité et quantité garanties ! Et je ne parle pas des autres plats... Faut y aller, mais le ventre vide...

Avons pu dîner au 2ème service après avoir réservé car ce restaurant est plus que connu pour sa très bonne cuisine locale.
Diner en terrasse couverte, mais dommage un peu bruyant à notre gout : normal vu le monde

The entrances of foie gras are served as a desk with a glass of soft.
Tatin caramelised apples and pan-fried foie gras is delicious, and then, how to describe half-cooked it with fresh grapes; p duck is exceptional.
If you are in the corner, a detour via the essential east. (Be careful: remember to book)
