LOU BARICOT
Restaurant with three terraces offering simple homemade recipes and a local dish.
Don't be impressed by Lou Baricot's high summer attendance. The restaurant of the campsite Les Vignes can certainly set several hundred covers per day in its dining room or on its three terraces, but never neglects the quality of its products, most of which come from local suppliers! The recipes are simple and homemade guaranteed by a young and dynamic team already working at La Table de Marquèze in Sabres and at the wheel of the food-truck La Popoterie around Mont-de-Marsan. At Lou Baricot's, honour above all to the traditional Landes cuisine, where duck is king: foie gras, leg confit, magret... And special mention to the "assiette de Pays": seasonal salad, country terrine, chicken casserole with Landes sauce, grenaille potatoes, goat cheese on toast, all accompanied by a glass of wine. Without forgetting the mussels marinières, with cream, curry ginger coconut milk, chorizo or country ham and Espelette chilli pepper. For dessert, taste the typical millas, halfway between clafoutis and flan. As for snacks, on the spot or to take away, you will have the choice between salads, pizzas, burgers... The rotisserie honours the red label farmhouse chicken. The bar and the pancake, waffle and ice cream island complete an offer that will satisfy all tastes!
