ST. STEPHEN'S CHURCH
The most glittering jewel of the city, in classical style, with a magnificent organ and a typical bulbous bell tower
Sub-prefecture in the Nied country, Boulay-Moselle has suffered for a long time from wars and considerable patrimonial losses. However, the Saint-Etienne church is without any doubt one of the jewels of the city! Built in 1782, it has a classical style in a pink sandstone which makes all its charm. Although it was remodeled during the 19th century, certain elements such as the wrought iron lectern and the credenza, dating from the 18th century, have been preserved. With its bulbous bell tower typical of Eastern Europe, dating from 1863, this is a monument not to be missed.
