THE BUDING MILL
Mill with a pond and a stabilized course accessible to people with reduced mobility in Buding.
Throughout its history, the mill has experienced several functions. In the xviiith century, it becomes a textile factory during the industrial revolution (culture and processing of flax, hemp and orty). Then, in the twentieth century, it moved towards agricultural activities. All these periods are referred to as a playful and pedagogical course and by highlighting all the specific features of the site, including the remarkable blades wheel and the 380 kg oil grinding! The area surrounding the mill, natural and preserved, is the park of the Canner Nature Valley. With its pond and its stabilized path accessible to people with reduced mobility, it offers beautiful trails on foot or by bike: 12 hectares of bucolic walks through strings of nature and a roseless. Fly-fishing enthusiasts will be able to practice their leisure activities with their island exclusively for fishermen. Finally, a strong time of the season. The International Symposium of Sculpture, held annually since 2008. By placing the mill at the heart of its activities, it promotes craftsmanship. A visit that has the wind!
Think of it: Playful workshops for children on Wednesdays and sundays (produce a herbarium, manufacture flour and walnut oil…). Possibility to celebrate his birthday at the mill as soon as 4 years.
