Chantal and Eric Tachon raise ducks and poultry (chickens, guinea fowl, capons, turkeys) in the open air and grow maize about fifteen kilometres from Mont-de-Marsan. The breeding starts with one-day-old ducklings, which are fed until they reach adulthood, before being force-fed. They produce many duck-based specialities: foie gras of course in jars, preserved or semi-cooked, in pieces or prepared for toast, rillettes and pâté with foie gras, confit, rillettes, stuffed duck breast... A treat!
