The château is a curious monumental ensemble dating from the and centuries
A curious monumental ensemble dating from the 16th and 18th centuries, the Château de Fénétrange immediately stands out for its semi-circular layout around the courtyard, in the shape of a "horseshoe". Among the treasures of this imposing monument is a 65-step, snail-shell-shaped, hollow-core staircase dating from the 16th century. There's also a Gothic-style chapelle castrale within the castle walls. Nearby, there's a lovely view of the river Sarre.
