Museum exhibiting weapons, models and various objects, to discover the life of Fénétrange in the Middle Ages and the half of the century
This local museum bears witness to local life in the Middle Ages and the2nd half of the 19th century. The first floor is devoted to recent times. Upstairs, we go back to the time of the noble warriors and barons of Vinstingen, lords of the free land of Fénétrange. We discover the offensive and defensive weapons of a knight in the mid-14th century, and the story of the night watchman, a man of watch and guard until the end of the 18th century. Model of Fénétrange castle in the 16th century and excavated furniture from Geroldseck castle.
