The magnificent fresco entitled Le Marché located at 133 Grand-Rue is signed by Greg Gawra. This muralist painter and painter made it in 1991, and renovated from September 2012 to September 2013, to keep him flashy! Val de Fensch has nearly fifteen works by Greg Gawra (in Hayange, Algrange, Nilvange, Knutange…), which highlights the territory's industrial and rural memory. The artist was inspired mainly by photographs of the time to create his frescoes-eye, as for characters, they take the traits of the inhabitants of the valley crossing his path. You can also discover other frescoes by Greg Gawra in France: in Pas-de-Calais, Champagne… and even in Germany. Some are visible on the walls of cities and others in establishments (museums, bars, restaurants…). Moreover, some individuals have not hesitated to use their services to embellish their homes.
