The Bastebieille farm regularly wins numerous medals at the Concours Général Agricole, including a gold medal in the "Whole Duck Foie Gras in Preserves" category in 2020. Conservative producers for five generations, the Lesgourgues family raises ducks for foie gras (traditional force-feeding with grain corn) and also produces all the cereals for their feed. Cooked or semi-cooked foie gras, magrets, confits, pâtés, rillettes... recipes and advice can be found on the website. You'll be warmly welcomed on site.
