Megalithic rock, 6 m high and 4 m wide, which emerges as if by magic between Cité Cuvelette and Puits Reumaux
It is a big megalithic rock of 6 m high and 4 m wide which emerges as if by magic between the Cuvelette City and the Reumaux Well. Its origin is controversial: druidic altar, border marker, fantasy of nature... It was especially the rallying point of the miners during the great strikes of 1920. For lovers of the marvelous, legend has it that the Wiselstein is also the place where the Waldmenschen (wood sprites) and ghosts meet at night...
