SENTIERS DÉCOUVERTES DES PELOUSES CALCAIRES

The heights of the Hauteurs-Nilvange and Ranguevaux heights have calcareous soils that allow water to infiltrate. In fact, they are poor and dry, and they are conducive to the development of limestone lawns which have a flora and fauna of Mediterranean origin, which is worth a detour. For this: two discovery trails, 3 km (Ranguevaux) and 5 km (Algrange-Nilvange), marked by educational panels, which allow the public to understand the specificity of these protected natural spaces. The Conservatory of Natural Spaces of Lorraine (CEN) manages these two sites. The desire of adventure, of the countryside, or simply to satisfy its curiosity… we have to go down these lawns!
