Already at the helm of Marcel's Bistrot and the O'Green Oak pub in Mont-de-Marsan, Mohammed Chohra has opened Trattoria Peppe in 2019. The establishment adorned with stone and exposed beams on its two floors exudes warm comfort and elegance. A bucolic setting to savor the cuisine of Vanessa Cruz, trained by Milanese chef Gualtiero Ferrari. Her antipasti, piatti, pizze and dolci change with the seasons. All products are imported from Italy, including the flour for the pizzas. The trattoria (tratto for friends) has a terrace.

Une ambiance à l'italienne, une décoration sublime, un voyage en Italie, un arrêt du temps, on y resterai l'après midi sans hésiter.
Toutefois les desserts ne sont pas du tout à la hauteur du reste du repas : tiramisu rigide, mousse au chocolat qui n'est pas une mousse mais plutôt une crème noisette et une salade d'ananas insipide. C'est vraiment dommage.
