MAIRIE DE MONT-DE-MARSAN
Mont-de-Marsan, or Moun in Gascon, has been the capital and prefecture of the Landes since 1790. The keys on its coat of arms could be those of Saint-Pierre, patron saint of the parish on which the town was built, or those of Pierre de Lobanner, the town's founder. They could also refer to the two rivers - the Douze and the Midou - which come together to form the Midouze. Keep up to date with all the latest news from Mont-de-Marsan and the surrounding area on the town hall website or in the quarterly magazine m2m.ag.
