Regiment des Landes since 1876, the 34th Infantry Regiment is the heir of the Plessis-Joigny Regiment, created in 1625. It distinguished itself on the battlefields of the Revolution, of the two empires, as well as in the two World Wars. The museum preserves and honours the memory of the most popular regiment of the Landes. During the visit, you will discover period documents and photos of young soldiers on duty and others smiling in 1914 as they left for the front.
