Gothic chapel of a lineage of knights occupying the Ritteburg castle, in the historic heart of Old-Homburg
Located in the historic heart of Old Homburg, this Gothic building, erected by Simon of Homburg between 1250 and 1270, was once the domestic chapel of a line of knights. St. Catherine died a martyr at the age of 18, and since the 4th century, she has left behind her a very fervent cult from the East to the West. Inside the chapel, one feels strange sensations: indeed, the religious building would be built on a powerful telluric point.
