Restaurant offering vegetarian dishes with friendly service in Moustey.
This charming 300-year-old listed building, once a meeting place for Landes circles, houses a restaurant that is worth a visit. Homemade" is guaranteed by Mélissa and her father Stéphane, from the starter to the dessert! The first one will make you taste a local cuisine that uses short circuits and whose vegetables are 100% organic. Flavours are therefore present in vegetarian dishes, especially salads. The duck, which comes in duck breasts, aiguillettes, pan-fried foie gras, etc., as well as the chicken, come from local farms. Other specialities include a pork meat of a quality unique in France, the Prince Noir de Biscay, raised in the nearby village of Liposthey, whose slow cooking at 60°C reveals its incredible delicacy. Fresh fish (sea bream, sea bass...) are invited on weekends. For dessert, don't miss the apple crisp or the original artisanal ice creams: mojito, banana, cherry ewe, violet... A scoop of goat's milk ice cream accompanies the cheese plate. Beautiful selection of local wines such as Tursan or Uby. In the dining room or in the shade of the plane trees on the terrace, Stéphane's service is warm. And the jazzy musical atmosphere will make your taste buds sway. Numerous concerts are held throughout the year, and sometimes groups go to the famous Marciac festival!
