This restaurant is located ten minutes from downtown Metz. And often, it is judicious in a gastronome's existence to push a little further than the pedestrian streets of a big city. at "Aux 3 Capitaines", the chef Marcel Moureau welcomes you between walls decorated with class and tradition. Above all, he offers you a first-rate Lorraine cuisine but gastronomic (rarely seen). Whether it takes the form of a large plate of cochonnaille, a beautiful pot-au-feu salad, an authentic head cheese or a simple steak tartare, the know-how of this Moselle native has few equals in the department. On Sundays, for lunch and dinner, the menu is enriched with a special menu on which the suggestions of the day prove the variety of flavors that the house can offer. Flavors that are both regional and ancient, with the use of certain spices that many have forgotten.
