SAINT-MARTIN CHURCH OF MARANGE-ZONDRANGE
A remarkable church with an organ classified as a historical monument, one of the jewels of our heritage, and a rare piece
If the church Saint-Martin of Marange-Zondrange is remarkable, it is above all thanks to its organ, renowned in the region. Classified as a historical monument in 2003, this exceptional instrument is one of the jewels of the Moselle organizational heritage. It is a rare piece because it is perfectly preserved and maintained. Installed at the instigation of the parish priest of the time, Father Simon Waris, himself a composer of religious songs, the organ was built by Joseph Géant in 1867.
