The former Manulor goldsmith's workshop in Meisenthal is home to Artopie. A veritable multi-disciplinary artistic laboratory, Artopie welcomes artists in need of a place of expression and residency in the fields of theater, music and the visual arts, either on a year-round or part-time basis. The site is equipped with a number of rooms (often under construction, which has a certain charm) to satisfy every creative desire. In addition to an exhibition space, a studio and a barn equipped to host shows, a carpentry workshop cohabits with a forge and welding workshop, as well as a sewing room. The premises are made available to artists in exchange for their active participation in developing the site. Artopie also organizes several events (concerts, shows, meetings, etc.) and runs workshops for children and adults (sewing, theater, etc.). Artopie cultivates a certain fantasy. What emanates from it is off the beaten track, and that's where its charm lies.
