This pink granite building, recognized as a historical monument, is one of the prides of Metz. Several times winner of the competition "The most beautiful station in France", it was built under the German occupation by the Berlin architect Kröger between 1905 and 1908. This station was originally planned as a military strategy in case of a possible conflict between France and Germany. The ✆ 36 35 informs about traffic, schedules, services and registers ticket requests. You can reach Paris by TGV in 1 hour and 20 minutes. This is a good entry point to get to the city!
