North African cuisine in a restaurant with terrace and beautiful view.
Lovers of oriental cuisine will have the chance (the baraka) to warm up to the scents of the Maghreb in this neighborhood dominated by the cathedral. As soon as you enter, a delicate aroma envelops you: that of couscous, tajines and pastillas. A treat for the nose and then for the taste buds! Note that the wait for the tagines is a little longer. As for the desserts, it is very pleasant to sip a mint tea while tasting one of the sweet pastries with oriental flavors. When the weather is good, the terrace offers a nice view!

The restaurant is located next to the cathedral offering a spectacular view from the terrace. The tables on the terrace are nicely decorated and all tables were covered with a nice cotton table cloth.
The presentation is promising. The lady waitor was polite and efficient. She was straight to point and knew all dishes on the menu. We have ordered a Couscous Royal and a Tajine chicken with lemon confit ???? As a dessert we took an assortment de délices orientales.
The couscous royal got served with different kinds of meat, lamb, chicken, merguez and of course some vegetables and Harrisa. The Tajine was accompanied with patates. The Tajine was very tasty, the taste of the confiit lemon with the chicken and patatoes was great. It was definitely a good choice. The couscous royal receive an extra boost when you added some Harrisa. For my taste it was lacking a bit of a punch.
The dessert was a plate with numerous oriental sweets. Most of them were done with fleur d'oranger, the typical flavour. With some coffee and tea an excellent finish.
The restaurant gets my full recommendation because of an efficient, polite and fast service, great oriental food at a real great price. The price quality ratio is definitely fantastic!
