This hotel is located in the head of the city's mid-range hotels. Built at the beginning of the th century, the Belle Époque style building was completely new to changing its name by becoming the Ibis Styles (member of the same name chain). However, it is hard for us to keep the building authenticity. Here, the map of sobriety is played with a decoration in the brown and beige tones, where dark wood and fabrics with clear colours blend. For superior rooms, plasma screens will give you the impression of being in your lounge, while for the bathrooms your choice will simply be between shower or bath. Perfect location, close to the train station and a-minute walk from the city centre. In the absence of a real restaurant within the hotel, the hotel offers a «snacking» offer, which means a card of five or six frozen and heated dishes at the customer's request. For parking, the train station is 200 metres away.

Hôtel propre, calme et bien situé. L’accueil en début de nuit était correct et le petit-déjeuner très bien.

Finally, a hotel where the size of the rooms is good, a little less for the bathroom unfortunately.
It is comfortable and the staff are welcoming. Located within walking distance of the train station.
Very good point for the possibility to press oranges at breakfast.

I was very disappointed service of this hotel, even shocked. We have paid two nights at the beginning of July, via a well-known website (I do not name it because it is not in question), on the basis of adapted room which allowed access to a person in a wheelchair. When we arrived, the famous adapted room as well as the hotel were inaccessible for disabled people: steps at the entrance, there is no lift, returning impossible any access then me the hotel. While I paid € 195.50 for two nights, the hotel management, strongly unpleasant, first refused to find me another place in a hotel in the area, and then it was told me that refund the two nights were “impossible”- with a bad faith which flirted with a rare arrogance and an aggressiveness. We had to make the trip back (350 km), without being able to visit Le Louvre-Metz as well as the city's cathedral. It is the first time I had such a welcome in an Ibis hotel, chains which I have regularly visited for twenty years. From mid-July Empecé written claims (for room not-in conformity, not-accessible and not-occupied) for which I did not have any meet, and consequently no two nights refund was executed. It is therefore a hotel far from recommended, with an incorrect management who did not hesitate to box my money without me to provide services by contract due, by showing in way dishonest person the website. All future traveller, go your way! Or, for lovers of hotel chain, go to another Ibis nearby!
