The Hisler-Even bookshop is THE bookshop to go to in Metz. In the heart of the city, just a few steps from the cathedral, the ground floor takes you immediately into the atmosphere. From the latest bestsellers to the great classics, from culinary art to poetry, from relaxation to funny stories, from tourism to fine arts, history and religion: the stimulation is intergenerational! Come and discover the Bar de la Page: for those who like to stroll around and enjoy some spontaneous reading, this place welcomes passing guests at any time of the day. The bookshop also has a well-stocked stationery and fine arts department and a wide range of luxury items related to writing. It must be said that since 1880, the pleasure of books and writing has never ceased to expand in a shop of almost 1,300m2 which now houses a comic strip area. Of course, the team regularly animates publishing releases and proves to be a committed player at events around the world of publishing.

Grande librairie en hypocentre de Metz. Fraîchement rénovée, personnel sympathique (bien que souvent débordé), agréable à fréquenter en heures creuses. Dispose d'un café / bar où on peut s'attabler pour lire ou écrire (super initiative !), et d'une petite terrasse en été.

Grand choix de livres , et s'il n'y a pas, possibilité de commander. Le personnel est sympathique mai souvent debordé. Eviter d'y aller un samedi après midi par exemple.

A good bookshop, even if the books are not necessarily found that seeks: it is often have to order... The rather high prices are a inconvenience. On the other hand undeniable benefits: this brand has a side " shop-cadeaux". It offers amenities creative leisure, practical and fun, supplies and organises some event- meetings with writers. It is a bookshop-shop where it is pleasant to make purchases.
